In a world where people rave about Red Lobster’s cheesy, buttery, crisp on the outside, fluffy and airy on the inside biscuits so much that employees are sick of hearing about it, 3 million Americans who have celiac disease and even more who have a gluten intolerance have been left out of the warm biscuit hoopla.īefore Red Lobster started selling its mix-and even after, for those who like to bake from scratch- copycat recipes for the biscuits have popped up on the internet. Red Lobster has also been selling non-gluten-free versions of its biscuit mix, including variations like rosemary garlic, at retailers like Target for a while now. The biscuits you’d get at the restaurant are unfortunately not gluten-free. All those whose gluten intolerance has kept them from enjoying Red Lobster’s beloved cheddar bay biscuits, rejoice!
